At 08:15 on August 6th 1945, the city of Hiroshima suffered the fate that had been set out by US President Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Chairman of the Nationalist Government of China, Chiang Kai-shek in a document known as the Potsdam Declaration.
“If they do not now accept our terms they may expect a rain of ruin from the air the like of which has never been seen on Earth. Behind this air attack will follow by sea and land forces in such number and power as they have not yet seen, but with fighting skill of which they are already aware.”
The only mention of ‘unconditional surrender’ came at the end of the document.
“We call upon the government of Japan to proclaim now the unconditional surrender of all Japanese armed forces, and to provide proper and adequate assurances of their good faith in such action. The alternative for Japan is prompt and utter destruction.”
Nowhere in the document did it make any mention of atomic weapons.
Japan was economically crippled way before events at Hiroshima/Nagasaki, in fact a few more conventional strikes to the tattered infrastructure would have brought Japan to her knees.
So why was there a need for issuing such a threat as ‘prompt and utter destruction’?
The war was as good as over and plans were already in place for the old order to be cleared out.
A massive commercial expansion was coming, so were the useless eaters and their transgenerationally passed on land deeds deemed to be an obstacle in this?
Were Hiroshima and Nagasaki and many other targets in Japan seen as little more than land grabs?
Was there collusion between the leaders of the US and Japan to avoid the complicated and lengthy legal issues of taking the land through court action?
Could a faster and more economical solution to the expansion plans be brought about by simply killing the deed holders?
If that was the case, which method could be used to accomplish this at the first attempt?
Delivering such an expensive and wholly untested device like an atomic bomb using a B-29 Flying Fortress however, was a very risky plan.
The B-29’s were famously unreliable from the start and notoriously difficult to maintain, they had powerful, but temperamental engines that were prone to spontaneous combustion.
Many previous B-29’s had ditched in the sea and never made it to their intended targets.
If that was the original and extremely risky decision, what was the official back-up plan for the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombings?
Did the USAAF plan on entering Japan on foot and asking for their bomb back if it failed to detonate?
This is where the official historical records start to get confusing.
There are reports of people seeing ‘birds exploding in mid-flight’ when the Hiroshima bomb went off, which conflicts with the ‘blinding flash’ that was officially ‘witnessed’ preceding the blast.
So, how do instantly blinded people see these ‘exploding birds’ when there are no official testimonies from survivors who had allegedly suffered irreparable retinal damage?
There were reports of ‘thousands of watches that were said to have stopped that day’ in Hiroshima, yet there are only two on display in the museum, so what happened to the rest?
Most telling however, was why the US felt the need to efficiently censor the historical records to exclude any mention of the ‘overpowering smell of petrol everywhere.’
If anyone could recognise a conventional firebombing in 1945 it had to be the Japanese.
So was the story changed to ‘atomic’ when the censors airdropped billions of pamphlets claiming an ‘atomic attack’?
The Japanese could also tell the difference between hundreds of B-29’s dropping conventional firebombs and a single bomber carrying a single weapon I would have thought.
‘Ah, but that does not explain the radiation sickness, tumours, deformed babies and the cancer-related deaths of subsequent generations does it?’
It also does not explain why the repopulation and re-building work in both Hiroshima and Nagasaki commenced almost immediately, even the Americans remained stationed in Japan until 1953.
Chernobyl however, still remains virtually uninhabitable since the atomic accident in 1986, so was the atomic radiation at Hiroshima and Nagasaki somehow less harmful?
More than once the atom bomb threat has been used to justify pre-emptive genocide and it still remains an effective and useful deterrent today.
“The Jesus Factor is a 1970 conspiracy theory thriller novel by Edwin Corley based on the Manhattan Project of World War II and the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
It concerns issues relating to the “arms race” and the collective guilt of those involved with the bombings.
Its fictional premise is the discovery during the development of nuclear weapons that they only detonate if stationary in a gravitational field, making their use as air-dropped bombs impossible.
In the novel, the nuclear attacks of World War II are simulated using aeroplane-mounted magnesium flares and dispersed radionuclides, taking advantage of the destruction caused by an earthquake. An international conspiracy hides this fact in the interest of maintaining nuclear deterrence.
The story concerns events when this status quo is threatened by one of the original bombardiers, who discovers the conspiracy while running for US president with a policy of nuclear disarmament.”
It is worth remembering that the reason that the mainstream media are demonising countries like Iran and North Korea, is because most people have been brainwashed into believing that a ‘capability to produce nuclear energy, also means a capability to produce a nuclear bomb.
