There are certain guidelines the Outlaw adheres to, in order to ensure that the articles, and comments published – create an atmosphere of safe, open, intelligent, grown-up and respectful debate for the community that this site attempts to serve.
Regular reader contributions and feedback are vitally important, and participation is encouraged – so please do your bit to ensure that this will remain possible.
The Outlaw has a responsibility to it’s readership and will always ensure that all threats, unwarranted attacks, personal insults, and spurious accusations aimed specifically at other commentators or innocent people – will be deleted immediately.
Feel free to be as animated and/or sweary as you like in discussing the articles published, or the comments of other readers, but deliberate attempts to disrupt or derail any discussion, or ridicule other commentators, will also be deleted.
Always try to reinforce any claims made with searchable facts, or at least present them with a reasoned or balanced argument which will encourage further discussion.
Do not attempt to present unsubstantiated, or imaginary claims, or statistics gleaned from anonymous ‘Alternative Media’ websites, or baseless rumours circulating on social networks like Twitter, YouTube or Facebook.
These will not pass moderation either.
If any claim or accusation made are entirely without basis, and bear little resemblance to actual facts and events, then please don’t include it in a comment, as it saves both my time and also, your credibility.
The Outlaw cannot possibly check the validity of every claim and every link that commenters post, but is ultimately responsible for the overall content – so reserves the right to not implicate itself in anything that it believes may not be strictly accurate.
The recent ‘Buckingham Palace Naked Escapee’, and the ‘Hampstead Satanic Abuse’ allegations being only two recent examples of such claims – that appear to have been taken at face value and spread like wildfire by thousands of Internet users.
Which incidentally, included a number of very well known Alternative Media sites with considerably larger readerships than the Outlaw currently enjoys.
Finally, if anyone still continues to venture beyond the guidelines outlined above, then please do not expect and demand to see your comments here.
