As of today, 11:11:15, the Outlaw is three years old, and it has been nothing, if not an adventure.
In that time, more than 500 articles have been published, it has received over two million unique visitors, and has attracted both it’s plaudits and it’s critics in equal measure.
The owner and his family have been stalked, trolled online far beyond anything perceived as a ‘normal’ level, received death threats, rape threats, threats of abduction and torture, and has been physically attacked at his home, an attempted arson on his property – and has been arrested twice and ended up in court.
It’s readership has remained steady throughout, even increasing slightly during the last twelve months, (contrary to what is being talked about on social media and certain blogs and forums) and has retained it’s original regular readership, even adding a few more along the way.
It has published an eclectic mixture of articles, covering a range of subjects few other sites have done, has often courted controversy and has above all, resisted the temptation to focus on one particular subject as so many other websites of its age and type have succumbed to.
Onward and upwards, and here’s to the next three years.
